emmings is a well established family firm started as long ago as 1955. Founded by Leonard William Hemmings who was born in the town of Northampton and established the hard working and energetic company which flourishes today.

Located just on the edge of the town centre, our 6000sq. ft. premises stocked with over 25,000 product lines, has been regularly called an alladdin's cave.

Since we were formed in the mid fifties, Hemmings diy have steadily built an enviable reputation with the community for stocking what is wanted when it is wanted.

Inevitably over the years, we have greatly increased the number of items stocked, in line with customer demand for ever more products.
